HBCU study abroad

African Summer for Academic Development

A curated, bespoke academic and cultural experience — this is not a cookie-cutter study abroad. Every cohort is built from the ground up around the school and the students in it.

Designed around you, not a template

Each program is designed for individual schools and programs, with a specialized curriculum tailored to the specific needs of the institution and its participants. We work directly with universities to build an experience that is academically challenging and culturally immersive, leading to both personal and academic growth.

Every course is designed with a simple idea at its core: students come to learn about South Africa, and leave having learned more about themselves and the world they live in.
